Starlighter Jupiter

Jupiter are based in Paris. The boy/girl duo have recently moved there from London where they met on an empty dancefloor. It must have been fate (or their love for retro hits) that brought them together to write songs so deeply rooted in times when Prince was still known and glitter wasn't a taboo. Quarles and Amélie are part French (the romance in their music!), part English (the lyrics!) but get along pretty well. Their songwriting and production clearly takes the best of both worlds, earning them appraisal and appreciation of the Valerie family. The song Starlighter has been getting a lot of attention in the blogosphere and grew to become an underground hit since it was first leaked. It's catchy, it's dreamy, it's sticky and it's sweet. Now, after official remixes for Metronomy and Chew Lips, Jupiter are preparing their first EP, which is to be released in September 2009, containing remixes by Thai pop sensation Cyndi Seui and Steve Moore (the man behind Lovelock and Zombi). Get ready for sheer bliss!
