Sonic Revolver

**Ruben Hoeke** has been one of Hollands leading guitarists for years. Since starting out in 1992, he has been touring all over Europe and won several prestigious prizes. Foremost he's known as a hard working musician. The new **Ruben Hoeke Band** album, called 'Sonic Revolver', will take things a little further when it comes to his musicianship. In his own words:'This must be the first RHB record I worked on where many times during the process, I had to laugh so hard I couldn't even play my guitar anymore. We had loads of fun just crash boom banging our way through the songs recorded on this fourth, rowdy, and energetic album. For the record; I'm not into guns, but somehow 'Sonic Revolver' appealed to me as a good album title since the 'full throttle' R&R songs just asked, no wait... begged for it. Furthermore, it seemed like a pretty logical step to follow since the last album was called 'Loaded'. So to me, it all made perfect sense. We ARE however into making the finest mix of Soul, heavy Rock, Pop, stompin' Boogie and dirty Rhythm & Blues possible. Especially when there is a chemistry going on like the one that can be heard on this record, thanks to my great band featuring Lucas, Paul and my brother Eric. 'Sonic Revolver' is exactly what I was aiming for musically and then some! Let's roll!'
