This charming 3 CD collection will transport you back to the days when comedy's purpose was to tickle your funny bone without making you squirm. All the 20th century greats are here, with a rare collection of songs and sketches. You'll hear all-time classics such as the late Stanley Holloway performing The Lion and Albert; George Formby with When I'm Cleaning Windows; and Old Mother Riley on The Farm with Arthur Lucan & Kitty McShane. You'll discover less well known routines too, from stars including Gracie Fields, Leslie Sarony, Frankie Howerd, Peter Sellers and many more.
