French only live album recorded at the Cirque Royal, Nuits Botaniques in Brussels in 2001 with a string ensemble. Includes two previously unreleased songs, 'I'm Still Waiting' & 'Blackbird'. What the press have said of his studio albums, Q Magzine; 'He delivers less a collection of songs, more an extended mood piece. That mood tends to the melacholic side of reflection, with Blake citing Scott Walker and David Sylvian among his influences'. Music Week (on his 1st album); 'The singer insisted that the vocals should be taped in a suitably atmospheric environment, and eventually settled on a church by a lake in Somerset, resulting in a distinctive, mournful sound'.
