Kim Richmond
Riveting, breathlessly lyrical... Richmond is in the prime of his playing, and deserves to be heard - All About Jazz/Los Angeles. The Grammy-nominated composer/arranger/saxophonist returns for his third release on Origin, this time featuring his sextet in a live set at one of LA's premier jazz venues. With a sense of searching and adventure, they explore Richmond's arrangements of standards such as You Don't Know What Love Is, Invitation, the Peacocks and Never Let Me Go along with three innovative originals.
