*'The Skys In Love With You'* is a vinyl length journey into melody and melancholy, hooks and harmonies, jingle and jangle, that will warm the aging hearts of **Ups and Downs** fans and excite younger lovers of classic indie pop. You can hear elements of the *Church on Fires Amongst Us,* early *Cure* on *'Gideon'*, even the *Hoodoo Gurus* on *'True Love Waste'*, but this is no simple exercise in nostalgia. *'The Skys In Love With You'* sounds fresh, modern and has an urgency that belies the bands years.
