“SAX SAX SAX” is a brilliant collection of 15 performances by legendary jazz saxophonists, compiled from 10 different albums in the 2xHD Analog Masters series. Songs by Stan Getz, Sonny Rollins, Sydney Bechet, Johnny Hodges with Ben Webster, Johnny Hodges & Charlie Shavers, Buddy Tate & Harry Edison, Ben Webster, the Lee Konitz Quintet and Zoot Sims Quartett make this compilation a truly special jazz experience!

The collected works were originally released in digital download format and quickly became a bestseller. For this vinyl version, the tracks were specially mastered completely in analog (AAA) and produced as a double LP with 180-gram vinyl (33 RPM).

René Laflamme – one of the most sought-after sound engineers in the industry – is responsible for the remastering. 2xHD, which he runs together with André Perry, the founder of the famous “Le Studio” in Québec, enjoys an excellent reputation and has rightly acquired an exceptional status in the high-end world. Laflamme's unique sound engineering skills are appreciated by many important players in the industry: for example, he represents and advises sound pioneers such as Nagra and Kronos Audio.
