Roost

The Roost is a heart & soul Rock and Roll band whose influences are not of these times. The music is no frills and straight ahead with plenty of melody for good measure. The band counts much of the English Rock n Roll bands and singers of the seventies as influences, along with the great American soul music burgeoning in the sixties. The Roost was produced by Andy Johns (Rolling Stones,Led Zep)in 2003,much of it with an old school approuch.The debut recording features a few friends who came by to help the boys out. Ian McLagan (The Faces) on Hammond organ and piano as well as John Hawken on piano and Wurley, with Dennis Diken on drums and percussion. Pick up a copy of The Roost, play it loud and enjoy!!
