Art of America Complete Series

Art historian Andrew Graham-Dixon presents this three-part BBC series in which he examines the history of art in the USA. Throughout the series, he looks at the portrayal of the country's earliest Puritan settlers, how American artists separated themselves from their European influences and how contemporary art has evolved in the post-war years to the present day. The episodes are: 'Looking for Paradise', 'Modern Dreams' and 'What Lies Beneath'.
