Hitomi (Ishihara), a teenage girl who possesses magical powers, begins to worry her grandmother and fellow witch, Kohaku (Hondo/Sumi Shimamoto), when she can no longer see colour or enjoy the wonders of life. Using a spell, Kuhiko sends Hitomi from the present day of 2078 to a time when Kuhiko was also a teenage girl, in 2018.
