GI Joe - The Rise Of Cobra

In an age when the threat of global terrorism looms large, the world needs a hero--or a whole team of heroes. After the success of their previous effort to adapt a toy franchise to the big screen (TRANSFORMERS), Paramount decided it was high time to dust off another vintage Hasbro toy line: Action Man. With Stephen Sommers (THE MUMMY, VAN HELSING) at the helm and an impressive cast, this live-actioner promised to be something a bit special. And G. I. JOE û THE RISE OF COBRA doesn't disappoint on that front; it's a well-crafted film, with just the right amount of thrills, spills, and eye-popping visuals to keep blockbuster fans enthralled.
