Barbara Rubin and the Exploding Ny Underground
Barbara Rubin shocked NYC's experimental film scene with her orgiastic masterpiece, Christmas On Earth. A mythical 'Zelig' of the sixties, she introduced Andy Warhol to the Velvet Underground and Bob Dylan to the Kabbalah and collaborated with Allen Ginsberg. She shocked everyone when she converted to Hasidic Judaism, moved to France and died unnoticed and forgotten... until this documentary.
