In the late twenty-first century, a species known as Orcins were facing challenges. Humans, the dominant race, corrupted by greed and power, were contaminating the planet. This was the Orcins' world, too. Their population, though growing exponentially, was not large enough to have the political impact of the more than twelve billion humans because vampires did not naturally reproduce. Despite this, some humans became infatuated with them and ultimately insisted on being converted. The Orcin hierarchy chose Vincent, an Orcin known for his rapport with humans, to develop a comprehensive plan for a cohabitive relationship between the two species. The tension that ensues, as the humans and Orcins try to work out their differences, results in an exciting, page-turning, action thriller.
