Dangerous Skies

Carson, an escaped cattle thief, has spent the past few months trying to make a few bucks as a mercenary on the front lines of the war. But when he tries to collect his pay he runs into some trouble and the only way he can get safe is to hit the sky. He doesn't let the fact that he's never flown a plane get in his way, but he quickly sees that the sky can be much more dangerous than the trenches. The infamous pirate Henry Callow has just found his way to retire. It should be a simple job, jut steal a briefcase and bring it to a house. Then get paid. Unfortunately for him a petty thief named Yoni gets in his way, and makes off with the goods. The little thief doesn't realize what he's just gotten himself into, and it's not just the pirates that are after him. Amidst the backdrop of a war that will soon engulf an entire continent, Carson finds himself dragged into a struggle between bloodthirsty pirates, an exiled lord, a billionaire criminal and a secret society of mad scientists. All he wanted was his paycheck.
