We need to look at prayer with deeper thoughts. Prayer isn't just closing your eyes, folding your hands and speaking. Prayer is a much more meaningful part of religion. We all need to pray, God himself demands us to pray. Prayer is defined as an act of God, a god or another object of worship, such as in devotion, confession, praise, or thanksgiving. When most people pray, they just say the same prayer, like the Lord's Prayer for example. Saying the same prayer isn't really such a bad thing, it's more about the meaning and the time that you spend praying. Prayer shouldn't just be looked at as a routine or habit, but as more of a love poem to express one's self to God. Questions such as: why do we need to pray? What is this prayer? As we have learned in the bible, the importance of prayer is high because it allows for the individual to build a stronger relationship with God. Praying allows for a person to experience a direct line of communication with God. Individuals are not utilizing prayer to simply free themselves of sins, but instead it is used as an opportunity to connect and spend time with God. It permits for the formation of a deeper connection and understanding with the reasoning's behind God's work. Through the use of daily prayer, individuals are granted opportunities to access all the aspects life has presented us. It also permits them to be selfless, praying for positives in other people's lives. Prayer can truly be life changing for a person who tap back into prayer. God doesn't look at how good a prayer is, he doesn't judge by quantity either. A short prayer can be just as, if not, more meaningful as a large one.
