If you are lucky enough to find, to know, to buy, to own or to love your Heart Horse then you are lucky enough. Random Blue was my Heart Horse and the day that I found him pinned underneath a tree my world stopped and changed forever. I held my two-year-old daughter in my arms as I said goodbye to my first love and to the best friend that I have ever had. I said goodbye to the horse that held most of my secrets and all of my heart. Our ten years together became summed up in time stamped moments. Every call for help and every comforting word said that day needs to be remembered. I have written this novel as a tribute to a horse that deserves to become a legend. I have also written this novel to thank the tribe of people that helped him and saved me on a day that brought me to my knees. If you have known and lost your Heart Horse, I hope that the words written bring you comfort. If you own and love your Heart Horse, I hope that you hold them a little tighter and know that every moment with them is precious and irreplaceable.
