This annual publication of poetry is presented by Florida's premier poetry organization, the Florida State Poets Association (FSPA). In addition to selected poems offered by the organization's poets, the collection includes winners of FSPA's of annual open contest in 19 categories. The contest is open to poets from around the county. Also included are contest-winning poems from middle and high school students from every part of Florida. Finally, the "chancellor" section of the book offers poetry from Florida's most renowned poets, including state Poet Laureate Peter Meinke, Lola Haskins, Carol Frost, Denise Duhamel, Virgil Suárez, David Kirby, Silvia Curbelo, and Lee Bennett Hopkins.
