I is a B. V Man: Baronian and Proud celebrates the joy of growing up in a small Guyanese community where it takes a village to raise a child. It's all about relationships- Social, Moral, and Cultural. It celebrates the togetherness of a people, a love for God, nature, and self. It presents a reflection of times, places, and events as it extracts the values of living together as one people with a common goal of creating a good legacy that will inspire our coming generations. This book honors the resilient soul of Beterverwagting, Guyana, the village of my birth, and all villages where, despite all life challenges, people find a way of loving, living, and enjoying life together.
