Titus Kellum Jr, feels like it is love at first sight when he first lays eyes on Faith. She is smart, beautiful, and classy. She is a labor and delivery nurse. Titus is the CEO of one of his father's successful marketing firms in New York City. He is a Christian man and he feels like they would be a good match. He asks her out, and he quickly falls in love with her, but he notices that Faith is a little high strung, but he still feels as if she is his soulmate.

They soon get married and everything is going well, and they want to start a family, but that is when trouble arises. Every time Faith gets pregnant, she has a miscarriage, and each time she has a miscarriage she falls deeper and deeper into depression. This causes a major stain in their marriage. Titus tries to be there for her, but Faith vehemently pushes him away. At his wits end with Faith's behavior, Titus makes some bad choices.

After they weather the storm, Faith gets pregnant again, and they feel excited and blessed that Faith's pregnancy is going well, and she even has a new friend who is also going through a pregnancy. Faith has her baby, but things don't go as Titus expects, and Faith's mental health begin to worry him again. But when the unexpected happens, Titus makes a vow to protect his family at all costs.
