Victims each of their fathers' abandonment, Lahai and Kornyaa have adopted a responsibility of giving each other a love their fathers have refused to give their mothers. Compelled by their mothers' deplorable conditions, the two young people love each other for only a few months and go apart for four years. But Lahai comes back and finds out that Kornyaa has been waiting for him with enduring faithfulness. He can't question her faithfulness to him even when she is diagnosed with a disease that smacks of unfaithfulness in a partner's absence.
