Hadley Jamison is shocked to learn about the suicide of classmate Archer Morales. Even though she did not know him well, she cannot stop thinking that she could have done something to help him. At his funeral, a man approaches her, tells her he is Death, and offers her a deal. If she accepts, he will send her back in time 27 days to see if she can prevent what happened.
