The right slope
Ion Vaileanu
"With "Versantul dret" (The Right Slope) Ion Vaileanu proposes a real social, societal and sentimental fresco (behaviors, specific dialogues and even "specific" words) that cut alive a certain time, a certain local culture and a certain moment: the transition to modernity, the passage from the village to the city, from adolescence to maturity ... from communism to the search for freedom and "the reverse" ... And all this through a timeless love story ... that he freezes in the image of the Parang and Mandra mountains in the TransAlpina to offer us the desire and the choice to look love in the face ... at the height ... of the beauty of nature and humanity thus united!".
