What has got the dwellers of the Bubble Ocean Kingdom all in a dither? Their soap-spawning corals have been afflicted by a bizarre ailment. Without the flakes shed by these flower-like animals, the bubble king cannot rustle up his frothy foam. And when there is no foam, the soap-surfing penguins, the bath perl octopus, the singing seafoam seals and all the other creatures in this quirky world will starve. The bubble king summons his subjects to a gathering. Surely, somebody can suggest a remedy? The mysterious phoenix moth gives him a useful pointer. And so Lala, the bubble princess, and the shiny purple fish set off on an adventurous journey to find the cause of the corals' condition.
