In reality modeling rely on the knowledge that we have, whether they are real or imaginary, naive or sophisticated, our mental models are often constructed on fragmentary information, based on a partial understanding of what is happening and naive psychology. Most research on mental modeling focused on the study of cognitive processes that occur in the human mind in specific situations of solving problems. The book attempts to offer a theoretical and methodological foundation for some of the mental modeling issues in the context of human-outside world interaction.
