Human exposure to gasoline usually present with adverse effects on health depending on the route of exposure and quantity of gasoline involved. Various degrees of toxicities are also associated with gasoline inhalation and sometimes anaemia and other disease condition may result. In most developing countries, auto-mechanics and fuel attendants are usually exposed to gasoline either by inhalation or direct contact. The effect on these individuals are not quite certain. We therefore set out to determine these effects in our immediate environment using haematological parameters. The analysis and contents of this book are quite revealing and will be of interest to those that work in automotive industry. It will also be of immense benefit to those that are exposed to gasoline and its fume either by direct contact or inhalation.
