The nature of dependence and its impact on wetland ecosystem was therefore studied to give insight of wetland management in Bangladesh, a densely populated developing country. Wetland management issues of other countries were reviewed as well to get idea about best management practices. This book is therefore, intended to help the policy makers taking appropriate decision for sustainable wetland management.
