Does Truth matter anymore? What is Fake News and what is The Real? Through metaphorical fugue, this book explores these pressing issues using multiple voices, often jarring in their lucid portrayals of existential crisis and jubilation. Taking various philosophical stances from modern nihilism to Gnostic mysticism, the reader is invited to take part in exploring the depths of life and meaning and truth. Sound & Fury is written as an avant-garde stream-of-consciousness mix of free-verse and essays, which invite anyone to interpret and appreciate (or hate) portions individually, while simultaneously curating a meta-narrative clarion call for an ailing world. One of many possible intentional and unintentional interpretations of the work is that of a physical and metaphysical aegis in the spirit of Sun Wukong.
