Why I Met You
Mara Joaquin
Life had been at a stand-still for Nomi Mirai for the past four years. She comes home after graduating college to an empty house, a workaholic father, and friends who have plans while she has none. A fateful encounter on the Metra with a mysterious train conductor sends Nomi further away from life as she knows it. Whisked away to 1974 Chicago, she meets the handsome, but secretive Ainsley Rue and finds community in the unlikeliest of places. With the help of the people she meets, Nomi uncovers the truth of why she was sent back in time and what it will take to get back home. However, will she even want to go back to the future if she falls in love with Ainsley?
