This is the second volume of sixteen lessons in the series Meditating on Narrative Passages. Each lesson is designed to help seekers and disciples of Jesus come to know Him in a deeper and more intimate way. Each lesson focuses on an event in the life of Jesus. As individuals meditate through the passage, time is given for group sharing that quickly becomes insightful and just plain fun. Sharing focuses on the stories' setting and characters, giving room for participants to fill in details of the story from their perspective. Later, time is given for sharing what it is about Jesus or the story that is liked or disliked and why participants might want to trust and follow Jesus. It's interesting how different Spiritual gifts give participants differing perspectives on each story. This inevitably leads to insights that might be missed when reading the passage alone!
