Megan Harper is a normal teenage girl except for one fact - her dad is a General in Galactic Command, a marine unit assigned to keeping the peace in the universe. Forced to attend boot camp to carry on her family's legacy, Megan hates it as much as she expected to. With the assistance, or in some cases, the hindrance of her mouthy A. I. Max, she starts to find her niche in this new atmosphere until an all too vivid dream of a hostile planet disrupts her much needed slumber. As she battles aliens out to kill her, she starts to realize maybe this isn't a dream after all.
