Sala and Her Pet

Sala and Eema, her mother, went to the supermarket to buy cereal, milk and eggs. Sala was checking the egg carton for broken eggs and noticed one small round soft-shell egg. She was surprised. She decided to take that carton. At home she inspected the strange egg and placed it in a small nest in her bedroom. She sang and talked to the egg for hours. She was astonished to feel the egg was warm and something moving inside. She wondered if it was alive. Eventually a small animal hatched, and here began their fantastic adventure. They grew to love and care for each other in a special way.
