The atmosphere of New Orleans suggests evil spirits have a role in a man's death...
A young man is found dead on the street in New Orleans. He's an agricultural inspector with the state and has a loving mother and son. Is this just another case of overindulgence in the French Quarter?
Jill Quint, MD, Forensic Pathologist, and P. I. based in California gets a call from Dr. Alicia Hudson, with whom she did her pathology residency. A pathologist for the City of New Orleans, Alicia, has a man on her autopsy table, who the family says died from evil spirits. How can Jill resist her call to find out what really killed the young man?
Jill's partner, Nathan, has a business meeting in NOLA and joins Jill. It's a death investigation that takes Jill from the French Quarter to the Ninth Ward, to the famous cemeteries of the city. Jill and Nathan have to work to stay alive in the foreign environment of New Orleans while battling the threat of greedy humans.
