The story begins in the year 2002 in Boston, Massachusetts, the cradle of liberty. The setting is an attic of an old house in Roxbury, Mass, a working class, neighborhood, in Boston, made up of mostly descendents of former slaves in America.
Times had changed, but two young girls, playing in the attic of their parent's home, were about to be catapulted back into history, and would relieve the days of abolishionist, slave catchers and meet a historical figure, Mr. Frederick Douglas. It is a captivating story of two sisters who bond together and through their travels, discover the America of the 1800's with all of it's different types of people and their beliefs.
