There's an island in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Louisiana. During Prohibition, gangsters and rum runners operated the Majestic, the largest hotel and casino north of Havana. The Majestic Hotel & Casino lies deserted, the island's only remaining inhabitants lighthouse keeper Jack Wiesinski, and Grogan la Tortue, the last Atakapa Indian. At least among the living.
