The Balearic Islands in the western Mediterranean have been extremely popular travel destinations for centuries. Mallorca/Majorca and Ibiza have become favoured visits by cruise ships to these islands in recent years, but the warm climate has attracted visitors for a long time. Naturally, the Balearics end up right in the centre of the map, which also includes the islands of Corsica and Sardinia.
