Alla Vilnyanskaya
Alla Vilnyanskaya's debut collection VOID takes a closer look at femicide, literary culture, and what it means to be alive in the world today. Like a megaphone whispered into your ear, Ms. Vilnyanskaya's words will resonate and change your life. The collection includes translations of Ukrainian poet Anastassia Afanas'va. In a parallel universe, Anastassia's poems are the metaphysical double that takes us into the uncanny realm of the imagination. Poems and interviews by Alla Vilnyanskaya that appear in this book have been previously published in Poetry International, Asymptote, Saint Ann's Review, and Schlag Magazine, among others.
