PAIN IS SACRED. Having taken to the sea, Eddie, and what remains of his road-weary companions, find refuge North. A friendly elderly couple point them in the direction of a nearby safe zone. Upon arriving, they find the Inn that served as a safe zone is now abandoned. Exhausted and out of options they take shelter. As the survivors rest and lick their wounds, a demented serial killer they believe dead, sheds his skin and finds a new mode of transportation. The differences between real and surreal blur as the survivors battle not only the living dead, but a supernatural psychopath with a thirst for suffering.
