Privateer's Moon Gerald Hall
Privateer's Moon
Gerald Hall
Alec Martinson was a former naval officer before becoming the captain of an old commercial jump tender. But hauling cargo shuttles around from one star system to another was simply not exciting enough for him. Alec decided to form his own privateer unit, willing to sell his sword to the highest bidder as long as the price was right and the job wasn't too 'dirty'. After recruiting enough ships and personnel, Alec was hired on by one of the colony systems to help them against an interstellar corporate syndicate's armed takeover bid. Alec had to then set up a base on the edge of human-colonized space and start to work. Business was good, but Alec not only the syndicate to worry about, but also had to deal with pirates, fanatical insurrectionists and incursions by the Lu'non, a genocidal, insectoid alien race with expansionist plans of their own. The action is nonstop as Alec's privateers fight to survive and to win the war for their clients.
