Individuals with different motivations jockey for the dead king's all-important position of power. Until a new king and heir is found amongst the kingdom's nobility, Berasculata has been stripped of its seat at the table of stable world powers. Who will lead this floundering country back into greatness?

Ridges for the Wise deals with the economic, social, geopolitical, militaristic, intellectual, and religious aspects of today's society in a science fiction format. Peace comes at a heavy price as one world comes to blows with both the internal and external issues before it.
