Amy Mary O'Brien Garret continues her life at Molly Mae Farm. She loves living among the hops and vineyard. Ten years have passed and her two girls, Sissy and Beth and her foster daughter, Shirley Temple, are grown.


Then one morning, Amy learns her foster son, Harry, has disappeared.


When Shirley Temple is threatened, Sissy and Beth Ann follow the clues left by Stephanie, Shirley Temple's mother.


Will Sissie continue in her current vocation? Beth Ann becomes involved with an agent who promises to make her a famous singer.


The family gathers at Molly Mae Farm and once again we share Amy's life with her girls, and Aunt Magdalene, Joe March, Old Doc Weeks and the Kennedy brothers.
