When U. S. Marshal Matt Bannister learned that he hanged two innocent Chinese brothers for the crimes committed by Wu-Pen Tseng-leader of Chinatown-guilt assailed him. But when Wu-Pen was quickly arrested, Matt felt like justice would finally be served.




That was-until Wu-Pen escaped from jail.




Just as the Chinatown gang leader is about to flee town, he comes up with a devious plan to stay and rule his kingdom.




Matt refuses to let Wu-Pen win. But when he goes after the evil Chinatown mastermind, the unthinkable happens. For the first time in Matt's life, he is helpless to save himself.
