Gems from Solomon examines the life of King Solomon of Israel concerning the search for his 'soulmate' bride and a fulfilled life. It researches what Solomon confesses in his scriptural writings about his investigations and how and why it was all unsuccessful for him. The author includes the Proverbs 31 Woman commentary and a verse-by-verse study on the Song of Solomon (a Biblical book that is mostly misunderstood as it seems by many to be too erotic). Here "Songs" is shown to be a beautiful poetic epic of human love and faithfulness, while Proverbs 31 details the epitome of a woman's character. The concepts of true love and a successfully wholesome marriage are also examined, along with a detailed study on the creation of man and woman in Genesis.




In a culture in which love is somewhat cheapish and the disdain of marriage so common, the author seeks to explain why many never find true love in a mate and how the marriage contract and ceremony, as defined in God's Word, are more important than we think. This book can perhaps help us understand God's will and provide a successful and satisfying Christian life from a devotional format.
