Winner: Independent Press Award (2018) - Juvenile Fiction CategoryFinalist: Book Excellence Awards (2017) - Children's Educational CategoryFinalist: USA Book News' Best Books Awards (2009) - Children's Educational CategoryReaders' Favorite Five Star ReviewEvery year over two million animals on Africa's Serengeti Plain are forced to embark on the Great Migration, a desperate, real-life, danger-fraught, 500 mile struggle for survival. And in the first, award-winning adventure of the Jaspa's Journey series for strong middle grade readers, Jaspa must join them, in order to fulfil a rite-of-passage called 'the Journey'. His task is made doubly difficult by the fact that he's a Giraffeses, a distant relative of the giraffe, who could comfortably sit in the palm of your hand. The Great Migration is a story of adventure and danger, friendship and secrets, excitement and emotion, humour and, above all, discovery.
