Heather talks us through her decision to have the surgery, all the parts of the process (including some pretty intense photos of her breasts before, during, and after healing--intense as in blood and bandages and bloody bandages), how she felt afterward, and a list of resources for people considering doing the same thing. She also writes about having a kid, her history with eating disorders, and learning to love her body.
