Allan Matheson's formative years were spent on his parents' farm in the Western District of Victoria, Australia. After school, he became a teacher, and his love of children's literature led to the writing of 'Henry: My New Home', a mainly fictional story seen through the eyes of the piglet Allan's father bought to fatten into a porker. This is the first of a series of three books about Henry's adventures on the farm where Allan grew up. The books are all fun to read and educational, and children will learn about farm life as they experience Henry's story.
