Art Show For Shut-ins
Joy Rip
"ART SHOW FOR SHUT-INS" - Joy Rip's 42-page color art comic - doubles as art catalogue of punk-do-it-yourself art show. Just how real is consciousness? This story about fact and value is a tale of nonfiction doubling as fiction. It is a tale of transformation - the mental and physical world dividing and uniting without end. It is a tale of mental and physical worlds unifying through the destruction, conversion, absorption of the other... and re-creating the other by dividing once again. Eat. Metamorphose. Enjoy. "Adventure is not outside; it is within. "Lucky Numbers 36, 3, 34, 2, 37, 54" (fortune cookie message)
