Come fall in love with four generations of Halleran women. They're funny and fun, and you'll wonder why anyone ever looked so hard for a glass slipper, when all they needed was the perfect pair of Oyster Pumps . . . The whole idea came about over that time honored question of "Who am I going to marry?" And like it or not, there comes a time in every girl's life when her heart seems to be in absolute peril over it. Sometimes it's an nine-year-old who whispers, "I hope I marry someone just like you, Daddy." Or maybe a daydreaming teenager who fancies herself in a princess gown, complete with worthy prince, and thinking, "is this the man I'll marry?" It becomes more obsessive when you're twenty-something and your friends are all married, and you're back to that first question of, "Who am I going to marry?!" Notice the difference: the exclamation point added to the end; in your thirties you're allowed two of those. In your forties, you're sure you must have missed the right man when he came along, which truthfully, ranks right up there with the first question in power of control over the female heart: "Will I even know Mr. Right when he comes along?!" A good exclamation point is usually appropriate on this one right from the get-go. Now what if I told you that Grandma Halleran had come up with a sure-fired way to eliminate all that angst? Are you hooked yet? 'Cause you're gonna love Grandma's idea.
