Trips Inside My Mind is a compilation of past and present poetry written throughout various times in my life. I started writing poetry to help me cope with the difficulties of a troubled childhood. I never thought I would share them with anyone because many of them are dark... however, personal darkness is something we all deal with at one time or another. And, at the end of each dark period, there's light... there's hope. I believe that by bringing my darkness into the light, I am able to move past the things that have happened to me and move towards becoming a healed woman.
