The Howling Mounds

"The adventures of the City Dump Kids" are stories of an ordinary family living in an ordinary town called Cottlerbury, USA. On the outskirts of Cottlerbury is a small community of little framed houses all lined along an old dirt road. This same dirt road leads to the city's refuse dump. The dump has mounds and mounds of thing people have thrown away. It had heaps of dirt, old toasters, broken toys, clothes, furniture and appliances. Near the end of the lane inside a pretty white fence stood a rambling white house. Inside the pretty white fence was a yard littered with toys and bikes. It was a happy house, so happy in fact the house seemed to smile. Joy and laughter could be heard ringing out like church bells. In this home of smiles lived six little children who enjoyed their home and had many adventures exploring the mounds whenever their mom would let them.
