After being diagnosed with an 'incurable' cancer and given a 5% chance to win, I took a complete 180. I decided to let go of things from my past. that were holding me back from the freedom that I deserved. I decided that I was going to do my best to be positive, even if I had no idea what was going to happen. If cancer taught me anything, it's that life is too short and the things I once thought important, were actually trivial compared what really is. The desire to be positive began to consume me. The drive to inspire people through my story took over. In an attempt to spread HOPE to those around me, I decided to take my story on the road.--- 7 1/2 months, 22,000 miles, and a sea of faces crossed my path as I ventured out looking for the next opportunity to share. My goal was simple: Use my story to leave an impression of HOPE. Leave people thinking, "If that guy can be positive in the midst of something so difficult, I too can be positive in the midst of my personal battles."
